Adobe Summit - Digital Marketing Conference

Anagram (a division of Hawthorn) are award-winning creative technical event production experts. We have collaborated with them on a number of projects, creating video and presentation content, for major events and smaller conferences and seminars.

A routine Friday was drawing to a close when the phone rang. On the line was Anagram’s production director Pete Harding, “Kev, I’ve got some PowerPoint decks that need tidying up for a conference that starts on Monday, can you help?”

It transpired the decks were for the Adobe Summit - Digital Marketing Conference at ExCel, London. The PowerPoint presentations had been created by the individual speakers with little apparent regard to the tome that is the Adobe Corporate Identity Manual.

The errors spanned 18 decks totalling 633 slides; wrong typefaces used, deviations from layout templates, low resolution graphics and images embedded that were too small to project correctly on large screen displays.

Over the weekend we:

• Checked every slide for corporate identity compliance and corrected as required
• Adjusted slide layouts to mirror design templates
• Produced scalable vector graphics to replace low resolution source diagrams
• Interpolated and enhanced pictures to replace low resolution source images
• Up-scaled graphics to native resolution for projection system
• Submitted decks for review and implemented revision cycles
  

The package of 18 decks were approved and delivered to Anagram via FTP in time for rehearsals prior to the event opening on Monday morning.
